What is RCM?
The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) is one of the leading music education organizations in Canada, dedicated to fostering a passion for music and cultivating musical excellence. With a rich history spanning over 130 years, RCM provides a comprehensive curriculum that encompasses various genres and disciplines, including piano, voice, strings, and more. Their programs are designed to inspire students of all ages and skill levels, offering a structured path for musical development through graded examinations, performance opportunities, and specialized teacher training. RCM's commitment to high standards and innovative teaching methods ensures that students not only acquire technical skills but also develop a deep appreciation for music as an art form. I proudly incorporate RCM’s esteemed curriculum into lessons, equipping students with the tools they need to thrive in their musical journeys.
High School Credit
Students that complete RCM Level 6, 7, and 8 can receive high school credit upon completion of the corresponding examinations. Certificates handed to successful students can present their certificate as their Fine Arts Credit.
